To make your StoresOnline website secure for Google, you will need an SSL certificate.  You have the option of buying an SSL certificate from a third party of your choice, or you may use the included instructions which will detail the process of obtaining an SSL certificate from HonestHost.

If you have obtained an SSL certificate from a third party, you will need to submit the certificate (not CSR) and private key to StoresOnline to upgrade or renew your site to HTTPS. The form to submit the certificate and private key is located here:

The HTTPS upgrade is optional.  Your website will still be accessible without it. However, this means that Chrome users will see a “Non-Secure Site” message when accessing your non-https site.
